Through a special agreement with the Federal Highway Administration, the Responder Safety Learning Network (RSLN) offers a National TIM Training Certificate for registered users who complete ten specific RSLN online self-paced programs.
To earn credit for each program, you must view the program in its entirety and pass the Skills Challenge test. Once you earn credit for all ten programs, you will be able to download a special certificate that is the equivalent of completing the National Traffic Incident Management Responder Training Program.
When you have completed all the programs, expand the Dashboard by clicking the small arrow, Then, click National TIM Training Certificate to download your certificate. Once you have earned the certificate, it will be listed in your transcript. If you have any technical problems, please file a support ticket.
Once you complete the National TIM Training Certificate, consider completing the “Innovative Responder Safety Strategies Certificate.” This certificate builds on the National TIM Training Certificate with more advanced knowledge and procedures in responder safety and traffic incident management. You must complete the National TIM Training Certificate on RSLN before you are able to earn this certificate.
Once you complete the National TIM Training Certificate, consider completing the “Roadway Incident Response Safety Leadership Certificate.” This certificate builds on the National TIM Training Certificate with knowledge and skills needed for effective on safety in roadway incident responses. You must complete the National TIM Training Certificate on RSLN before you are able to earn this certificate.
