Roadway Incident Response Safety Leadership Certificate

Once you have completed the National TIM Training Certificate, the Roadway Incident Response Safety Leadership Certificate will become available for you to earn. This certificate is appropriate for department and organization leadership, emergency responders who want to advance into leadership positions, and emergency responders who are leaders among their peers. Once you have earned the National TIM Training Certificate, this page will “unlock,” and you will be able to earn this Roadway Incident Response Safety Leadership Certificate. You must be a registered user on the Responder Safety Learning Network to earn these certificates.

If you have earned the National TIM Training Certificate from another organization, you may request to bypass this pre-requisite requirement for the Roadway Incident Response Leadership Certificate. You will be required to provide proof of earning the National TIM Training Certificate from another organization. If you are granted the bypass, you will not have to earn the National TIM Training Certificate again on the Responder Safety Learning Network and this page will unlock for you to earn the Roadway Incident Response Leadership Certificate. To request credit for your existing National TIM Training Certificate earned from another organization and bypass that requirement for the Innovative Responder Safety Strategies Certificate, please file a support ticket and choose the support ticket type of "National TIM Training Certificate Credit Request".

To earn credit for each program in the Roadway Incident Response Safety Leadership Certificate, you must first be registered on RSLN and logged in. Then, you must view each required program in its entirety and pass the Skills Challenge test. Once you earn credit for all required programs, you will be able to download the special Roadway Incident Response Safety Leadership Certificate.

When you have completed all the programs, expand the Dashboard by clicking the small arrow. Then, click “Roadway Incident Response Safety Leadership Certificate” to download your certificate. Once you have earned the certificate, it will be listed in your transcript. If you have any technical problems, please file a support ticket.

After you complete the main certificate requirements, you may choose to add one or more optional concentrations by completing additional required programs in specific disciplines.
