New Certificate in Roadway Incident Response Safety Leadership

Over 41,000 emergency responders have earned the National Traffic Incident Management (TIM) Training Certificate from The Responder Safety Learning Network (RSLN.org). Now, RSLN.org is offering an advanced certificate to continue your training beyond that foundation. The Roadway Incident Response Safety Leadership Certificate is appropriate for department and organization leadership, emergency responders who want to advance into leadership positions, and emergency responders who are leaders among their peers.

Once you have earned the National TIM Training Certificate, you will be able to earn this Roadway Incident Response Safety Leadership Certificate. You'll take nine online modules at your own pace, covering leadership, professional standards, SOP development, TIM Committees, and methods for training and response. You can then choose to take programs related to your response discipline to add optional concentrations to the base certificate. Concentrations are available in Fire, Fire Police / Special Traffic Unit, EMS, Law Enforcement, Departments of Transportation and Safety Service Patrols, and Towing & Recovery.

To complete the Roadway Incident Response Safety Leadership Certificate once you have earned the National TIM Training Certificate, simply complete the nine required programs and any optional concentrations. You will then be able to download a special multi-program certificate in Leadership. If you've earned any optional concentrations, those are noted on the certificate.
