Program Abstract

This self-paced program is specifically for first responders who are newer to the profession, typically in their teens and twenties. It covers the bedrock safety principles and traffic incident management practices that every responder should learn and practice from the beginning of their career until retirement. Young first responders learn from their peers about traffic incident management, professionalism, safe operating procedures on the roadway, safe driving practices, how to obtain training in traffic incident management, and how to have a voice in your department. Taking this module is a great opportunity to become a leader in safety and traffic incident management, a specialty that is indispensible in your department.
